Costa Mesa, California – Mayor William “Bill” Dalton of Garden Grove has announced his support of Allan Mansoor for the 68th Assembly District.

“Allan has been a dedicated public servant to Costa Mesa and will continue to serve Orange County in the State Assembly,” said Dalton. “He is a proven leader that we can count on to fight for conservative values and fiscal responsibility in Sacramento.”

“It has been an honor to work with Bill and I am proud to have his support,” said Mansoor. “I know we can continue to work together to better our district and our state in the future.”

Bill Dalton has served on the Garden Grove city council since 1998 and as mayor since 2004. Prior to serving on the Garden Grove City Council, Mayor Dalton was a lieutenant for the Garden Grove Police Department. Currently, Mayor Dalton serves as Chairman of the Orange County Sanitary District Operations Committee, and is a member of the Board of Directors for the Orange County Transportation Authority.

Allan Mansoor is an Orange County Deputy Sheriff and mayor of Costa Mesa.  He is a Republican candidate for the 68th Assembly District, currently represented by Van Tran, who will not seek re-election due to term limits.
